THIS is a little tough to watch, but not entirely graphic, so just eye it at your own risk. it’s a bystander film of a confrontation between a cyclist and a pedestrian. the cyclist is a young, in-shape dude. the pedestrian is a middle- to later-aged asian man, unarmed. the older man confronts the cyclist about something (lots of the posts about this state that the cyclist had run a red light and hit the old man and they were arguing about who was in the right), the cyclist tries to leave, the old man keeps following him, and before you know it, they’re fighting. and then the cyclist clocks the old man in the head 4 times with a u-lock, till the old man is staggering and bleeding profusely out of the head.

this is UNCONSCIONABLE. unacceptable, unforgivable, and untenable. who the FUCK does this privileged motherfucker think he is? what gives him the right to go up against this old man’s head with a 2-pound chunk of steel? this man is arguing with him, sure, and maybe the old man even laid hands on him. i’m not saying that the fight was unforgivable — frankly, i don’t know what happened. but for christ’s sake, if you’re gonna hit the dude, do you REALLY need to do it with a block of steel? slap him, push him, punch him, kick him, do what you need to do man, but a u-lock to the HEAD? ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY?

this is really irking me BAD. this kid deserves to get hit by a truck. fuck him and everything he stands for. little bitch probably beats his dog, too.
