leverrighted Ghostal: Lever Righted

I mentioned in the Ghostal First Ride report that I did indeed reverse the shot lever into the, well, proper position after Lung commented on it, and frankly, even in the preliminary ride to work, it felt better. I should have just trusted the manufacturer’s design in the first place. Anyway, granted the shot lever really isn’t that powerful a brake lever (like any of these finger levers, referred to as ‘supplemental braking’ in the literature) it’s REALLY AWESOME to be able to grab from either side.

This photo also shows the Velo Orange stem and headset, which Lung was talking to me about last night. I am so far quite pleased with the VO products. They make some great stuff for the bike building crowd…
