1269452292 kimori front brake adapter

we’ve seen KIMORI products around these parts before, and we’ve come to realize that they make some seriously specialized shit. (and god bless em for it — i love niche products.)

THIS product is a removable front brake mount for track forks. i’ve seen two people around the city riding brakeless in the nice weather, and then running a brake in the rain. (smart move, too, since skidding does approximately jack shit in the rain.) seems like this would be tailor made for anyone who is running a true track fork, or alternately for people who live in a city which has one of the steadily-increasing brakeNazi laws. the only limitation, it seems, is that the mounts don’t seem to work on anything but the classic/vintage steel fork construction.

the engineering is nothing short of genius. everything from the mounting (a single butterfly nut) to the little rubber bits that protect your head tube from scratches seems well thought out and ready for use.
